Consultation has concluded
Welcome to our first Virtual Public Meeting - one you can attend from a place of your choosing at a time most convenient for you! This month we're discussing the development of Maple Leaf Dog Park.
We know it's tough to get together in person, so we've set up this virtual space to resemble the station model of public meeting you're used to. To participate in this meeting, please visit each of our stations below to share ideas, take a survey, and give your feedback. You'll be welcomed by short informational videos taken by staff members at each station, letting you know what we need to know and how you can help. Thank you for taking the time to watch these videos, and for your participation — we need your voice.

Currently the city has a breed restriction on Pit Bulls and Pit Mixes, so until that breed restriction is lifted citywide, unfortunately we cannot welcome those dogs into this play space.

We do plan to have a smaller, gated area for toy and miniature sized dogs who may not be safe in the larger open play space.

We hadn't considered having the park open after dark, but understand that some people might need access who work off hours. This is a good idea, and one we'll put into a proposed plan that you all can review later this month.
