Virtual Public Meeting - Maple Leaf Dog Park
Welcome to our first Virtual Public Meeting - one you can attend from a place of your choosing at a time most convenient for you! This month we're discussing the development of Maple Leaf Dog Park.
We know it's tough to get together in person, so we've set up this virtual space to resemble the station model of public meeting you're used to. To participate in this meeting, please visit each of our stations below to share ideas, take a survey, and give your feedback. You'll be welcomed by short informational videos taken by staff members at each station, letting you know what we need to know and how you can help. Thank you for taking the time to watch these videos, and for your participation — we need your voice.

I think we should have a volunteer board of dog owners who keep the park clean and periodically review the regulations. A park for the people, by the people!
I'm happy to volunteer to provide a few cans of tennis balls once a month that everyone can use.
Instead of breed limitations or restrictions, I think we should have a time of day where all dogs can come to play, and owners assume all risks. My Pitt isn't violent, but generally people leave whenever I bring her to play at other parks. It's sad!
I would be happy to organize or participate in a monthly community cleanup, where we can pick up litter, rake the grass or mulch, and generally spruce up the park. My old community dog park had this, and it was a great way to take care of the space and meet other dogs. (And their owners!)
